This Privacy Policy explains how Heimly (“Heimly”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Heimly mobile application (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Summary
Heimly does not require an account and does not ask for your name or email. The photos you choose are used only to generate your designs and are not used to build a profile of you. We rely on Apple and RevenueCat to process purchases.
2. Information We Process
- Photos you provide. When you select a photo or take one with your camera, the image is sent to our processing service and a third‑party AI provider solely to generate your requested design. Images are processed transiently to produce a result and are not used to identify you or for advertising.
- Generated images. Results are returned to your device. Any images you keep are saved locally on your device (and to your photo library only if you choose to save them).
- Purchase information. When you buy credits, the transaction is handled by Apple’s App Store. We use RevenueCat to validate purchases and manage your credit balance, which is associated with a randomly generated, anonymous app user identifier — not your name or email.
- Device & usage data. Our providers (Apple, RevenueCat) may process limited technical data such as device type, operating system version, and anonymous identifiers to deliver and secure purchases.
3. How We Use Information
- To generate the interior, exterior, garden, floor, style‑reference and object‑replacement designs you request.
- To process in‑app purchases and track your remaining credit balance.
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the App.
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. Third‑Party Services
We share the minimum data necessary with service providers that help us run the App:
- Apple App Store — payment processing for in‑app purchases (Apple Privacy Policy).
- RevenueCat — purchase validation and credit management (RevenueCat Privacy Policy).
- fal.ai — the AI image‑generation provider that processes your submitted photo to create the result (fal.ai Privacy Policy).
- Cloudflare — hosts the secure service that routes your request to the AI provider (Cloudflare Privacy Policy).
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your photos to train our own models.
5. Data Retention
Submitted photos are processed to generate a result and are not retained by us for longer than necessary to deliver that result. Purchase and credit records are retained by Apple and RevenueCat according to their policies and as required for accounting and fraud prevention. Images you save remain on your device under your control.
6. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
7. Security
We use industry‑standard measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), to protect data in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. Because the App is used anonymously, we may need additional information to locate any data associated with you. To make a request, contact us at the address below.
9. International Transfers
Our providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
